This is an action packed expedition to the Philippines for ADVANCED DIVERS led by a dedicated marine biologist with years of experience and a featured Shark Week host. .
You will spend 4 days diving with pelagic thresher sharks at the absolutely beautiful Malapascua Island.
These will be very early mornings (meeting time: 4:30am) but driving on the boat at sunrise and preparing to dive with sharks, makes the early morning wake up very much worth it!
You will average 2-3 dives per day with the threshers and should be back on dry land just in time for lunch. The afternoons are typically free for leisure but there is an option to explore the island and search for sea snakes if desired.
After completing the Malapascua leg, you will then venture to Oslob for two diving days where you will do shallow water dives at a whale shark site.
This site has a previous history where sharks were savagely killed and it has made some positive strides since then.
The aim at this site is to get you two full dives a day and again, the afternoons will be free for leisure; however, there are plenty of activities to be organized if desired.
